Activities, Art and Culture: Homade Books with the Children

The children and I made a book!
I have been wanting to see how well they would follow directions and take interest in a "real project" together, and they did amazing!

We pulled out all the crafting materials to decide what we would use. I did the cover and let them do the inside pages (with a little guidance).

It was so fun! I talked to them about what we were doing, colors and what was happening with our "story". I really recommend doing this with your kid at any age. It makes them think, get creative, you get to see their creativity too.

The Kiddo'S: Gymboree Day

Its getting a bit hard to make Gymboree even once a week these days : ( So after Gymboree class I let Zoe play as long as she likes and enjoy attempting her walking on the padded floor. Thank God for padded floors at Gymboree!

So if you haven't noticed i am more of a picture taker than a paragraph for every post type blogger. Id like to think that means that when I do have something to say in a post its noteworthy, quotable and darn important. So Im going to be true to that and I think Ill get a lot more posting done!

Gymboree with Zoe "Climbing"

So I rejoined Citrus Lane last month and I added Ezra too! Inside were California Baby products, Skip Hop stroller/car seat toy (Which Zoe was immediately drawn to -see pics above), and  two or three other things. I love that Zoe recognizes the box now and crawls right over to it and digs in. Its another thing to do with her and that I'll soon get to do with Ezra!
